Check out interactive vendor exhibits at the University Center. Local organic farms, TVA Green Power, the TN Aquarium - Sustainable Seafood, and community businesses will showcase their efforts to practice good environmental stewardship. A variety of film presentations will be showing throughout the week, including the documentary films "The Economics of Happiness" and "Tapped". Jim Pfitzer, renowned for his study of Aldo Leopold, the Father of American Conservation, will be hosting "Green Fire: Leopold and a Land Ethic for our Time" as well as performing his one-man play "Leopold: A Standard of Change". UTC's environmental student group (EDGE) will be sponsoring a variety of student activities, including "Weigh the Waste" in the Crossroads Food Court; RecycleMania 2013 poster design contest; and decorating barrels for recycling collection at events. UTC is committed to reducing our campus carbon footprint, and instituting conservation as a life-skill!
