The Educational Partnerships for Innovation in Communities Network (EPIC-Network) hosts a conference and workshop for university representatives, city officials, and organizational partners interested in adopting, adapting, and/or enhancing the EPIC Model for their institutions and communities. This annual conference has been a primary method for launching the 25+ EPIC programs currently operating. For those new to the EPIC Model, the goal for the conference and workshop is to present how and why this flexible and adaptable model can work. The conference also helps people get started working on a their pilot partnership.
EPIC is an award-winning university-community partnership program that works at a large scale to advance the needs of communities while training the next generation workforce and leadership. The EPIC-Network (EPIC-N) is the collection of institutions that have successfully adopted this new model for community innovation and change. Real change happens in our local communities; by adopting the EPIC Framework, colleges and universities around the world can become a more active part in catalyzing that change.
