In early March, Furman University hosted a panel discussion “Greening our World: Sustainable Colleges, Corporations and Communities.”
The panel discussion was moderated by Andrew Revkin, a former environmental reporter for The New York Times and currently Senior Fellow for Environmental Understanding at Pace University. The panelists included:
- Christine Todd Whitman, former E.P.A. Administrator under President George W. Bush
- David Shi, President, Furman University
- David Hales, President, College of the Atlantic
- Nilda Mesa, Assistant Vice President of Environmental Stewardship, Columbia University
